BRIEF OF THE CAUSE
Team ’anjezë’ supports the cause of serving children at the remand homes of Mumbai under the Children’s Aid Society. Children’s Aid Society is a organization of 7 homes established in 1927 as an NGO in the field of child development. It falls under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (care and protection) 2000 Act, Amendment 2006. Children are brought here by the Police and NGO’s for their care, protection, treatment, development and rehabilitation. It is governed also by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and consists of children who are missing, child labourers, beggers, orphans etc. There are 7 such homes under the society, which houses approx 1800 children.

REASON ‘anjezë’ HAS TAKEN UP THIS CAUSE
anjezë strives to help the children staying in these remand homes, to get the basic standard of living, which includes food, clothing, shelter and most basic infrastructure, followed by health, hygiene, and education. This is essential to help them live a basic life of dignity and we have yet not achieved anything close to this. We are trying our best to help these children, month by month, trying to get their condition to the most basic way of living, if not more. The need is immense and we are in constant search of support systems through individuals, corporates etc

WHAT DOES TEAM ‘anjezë’ & DONOR ACHIEVE FROM THE SERVICES TO THE CAUSE
Team ‘anjezë’ has been running this cause since its inception. We receive immense satisfaction in helping these children, month by month, trying to get their condition to the most basic way of living if not more. The need is immense and we are in constant search of support systems through individuals, corporates etc. Caring for the underprivileged and the needy is the chief mandate of Team anjezë.
